Art and Creative Direction:
Served as Senior Art Director for a major advertising agency in Phoenix, Arizona designing graphic solutions for clients
in financial services, real estate, recreation and retail industries.
Directed a production team of five employees to produce award-winning logos, annual reports, print advertising and billboards.
Created drawings, renderings and presentation materials as Engineering Art Director for a research and development company
under contract to the U.S. Maritime Administration.
Offered Associate Creative Director position with Best Western Hotels (declined).
Illustration and Copy Writing:
Created over 2,500 reflective situational illustrations in conventional media for 21 college-level textbooks on a variety
of subjects that included mathematics, algebra, trigonometry, engineering mechanics, microbiology, archaeology, anthropology,
chemistry, geology, astronomy and operations management.
Produced illustrations to support scientific articles in Discover Magazine and Popular Science.
Offered staff position with Discover Magazine, labeled The Kamikaze Illustrator.
Wrote and illustrated a weekly science column for The Rocky Mountain News.
Designed art for motivational programs, reports and proposals, executive suite fine art, vendor gifts and custom greeting
